Angela Hulbert - Complementary Therapist

I have lived in Yateley for over 30 years. I live with my husband and have 2 grown up daughters.

For many years I worked in Marketing and Market Research in the Pharmaceutical Industry. When my company relocated in 2001, I used the opportunity to switch career from Marketing Executive to Complementary Therapist.

Initially, I studied Anatomy and Physiology, and Swedish Massage at the Raworth Centre, Dorking. A few days before the exam results came out, I tripped and broke my hand. Although I felt, “in my bones” (pardon the pun) that my hand would heal and I would be able to massage, I decided to learn Reflexology. I studied this and later on, Indian Head Massage and Aromatherapy at the Middlesex School of Complementary Medicine.

Both colleges have excellent reputations and provide a high standard of teaching. It was hard work but fun.

I have gained the following qualifications:

I still work in the field of Pharmaceuctical Regulation and this is my link with “the real world” - it stops me grinding to a halt as a result of all the relaxing oils I use!
